About us

The Nutrition, Chemical Food Safety and Consumer Behaviour division is one of the 14 research divisions of the French Institute for Agricultural Research.
The main objective of the Division is to provide scientific bases for improving health and well-being by encouraging the development of food and diets adapted to humans. Studies lie in a compromise between individual well-being and economic and socio-professional realities. The division fosters scientific communities in the areas of food-borne chemical risk, sensory perception and food preferences and finally environmental drivers of nutritional behaviours (regulatory, socio-economic, genetic,…)
