Scientific contributions: practical information

Important deadlines

The submission of communications and posters is over.

• Submission of oral communications and posters: June 04, 2007 - January 15,  2008
• Notification of acceptance by Scientific Committee: March 01, 2008
• Receipt of the final version of oral communications and posters: March 15, 2008

Organization

Authors of oral or poster presentations are kindly requested to send an e-mail to Cucurbitaceae2008@avignon.inra.fr with the full text in english of their  contribution and their wishes for:
1. the format: "oral communication" or "poster"
2. the session: "Genetic resources and biodiversity", "Genetics and breeding" or "Genomics and biotechnologies"

Authors will have to fulfil the rules defined for the format and the presentation of the contributions. These rules will be described in the "Recommendations for manuscript" document that is on line on this site. The text of oral communications will not exceed 8 pages (including figures, tables and bibliography). The text of the poster communications will not exceed 4 pages.

All the selected communications will be published in a book distributed during the conference. Then they will be publicized on a web site. Authors will have to concede to the organizers of the conference the authorization to reproduce and to publicize their contributions. The main author of each contribution has to download the "Authorization to publish" document, to fill in it, to sign it and to send it by postal way at the following address:

The "Authorization to publish" document is available in three formats:  Adobe pdf, Microsoft Word and OpenOffice . Your contribution cannot be accepted without this signed form.

It is useless to record on this site the abstracts of your communications, as proposed in your personal space. The scientific committee will examine only the full text of the proposed contributions.
