A special issue from INRA's Productions Animales journal
Although frequently used in animal production, the term robustness does not have a standard definition and covers concepts that may be different amongst fields. For the geneticist, it may be the property of an expressed trait that varies little with different environments. This article of INRA's Productions Animales special issue presents underlying genetic hypotheses and the models associated wtith the interaction between genotype and environment.
