Our Shared Resources

Since our research programmes are very complicated, the Division has set up several shared resources including tools, specific lines of animals or experimental facilities, technological platforms, databases or software. These resources are aimed at improving the quality and the productivity of research.

          
Our platforms guarantee quality and professionalism in a very specific field that requires both high skill and expensive, centralised equipment.
 
   

The Division develops many software, in particular in genetic mapping and QTL detection, statistical analysis, and genetic analysis and evaluation of breeding animals.
   

Tools that have been developed together allow procedures to be shared for all our applications.
   
   The lines of animals kept in our experimental units allow building the desired genetic structure (crosses, families, . . .), controlling the environment, measuring the fine traits and obtaining more reliable data.
