Organisation and Participation in Meetings and Workshops

Research teams of the Division organise international meetings and workshops. Many of our employees participate in the organisation of national meetings (3R, JRP, JRA, JPRFG, JRC, colloque du BRG), but also in international meetings (president of the European Association for Animal Production (EAAP),secretary of ISAG, vice president of WPSA).
 
≈ The 11th QTL-Mas Workshop,  in 2007, in Toulouse
 
≈ The 7th International Conference on Equine Exercise Physiology, in 2006, in Fontainebleau (250 participants).
 
≈ The 9th International Symposium of Genetics in Aquaculture (ISGA), in 2006, in Montpellier
 
≈ The 16th European Colloquium on Cytogenetics and Gene Mapping in Animals, in 2004, in Jouy en Josas (80 participants)
 
≈ The 11th International Workshop on Major Genes and QTL in sheep and goat, in 2003, in Toulouse (110 participants) 
 
≈ The 7th WCGALP, in 2002, in Montpellier.
This congress implicated more than 1500 congressists, 900 communications, a budget of 1.2 million euros, more than 25 people mobilised for two years and many more people that helped this event run smoothly. The  7th WCGALP was a major event of these four years and a great success.
