Our Ties with Higher Education

INRA
Our ties with higher education are old and many, founded on common objectives. These partnerships reinforce the "research - education - development" structure. They give an added value to initiatives in terms of competencies in shared research fields but also to the diffusion of knowledge and transfer to innovations.
Six joint research units depend on two universities (Limoges and Bordeaux) and four schools (AgroParisTech, Agrocampus Rennes, ENV Toulouse, ENV Alfort). These units create a real synergy between research activities and teaching when the scientific subjects are defined conjointly, keeping in mind the key focus areas of the Division and educational projects.
The Animal Genetics Division follows the institutions policy, actively participating in higher education :
-
Training of doctoral students and post-doctoral scholars
-
Our scientists teach in agronomy and veterinary schools and in universities. They also give classes in continuing education as well as international classes.
-
They lead or participate in the pilot committees of several doctoral schools.
-
They plan and run curricula programmes.
All our research units favour high quality training for intersnhips for students from our partner institutes and contribute to education by research.
