An operational entity

The dynamics of the Division are formalised by key objectives that describe its direction, goals and partnerships. These key objectives were elaborated in keeping with the board of directors of INRA and are in agreement with the institute's priorities.
The Division ensures three roles :
  • the orientation and structuring of research,
  • dissemination of scientific information in its fields of competency and activity,
  • operational by the financial and human means it provides to support its policy.
The Division head is assisted by two committees, the scientific council and the management board. They are formed by the following : members whose duty it is to participate, appointed members and elected members. These committees are consultative.

Many other authorities participate in the reflexion and scientific organisation (coordination between INRA Divisions within the framework of the APA Scientific Direction, scientific committees by species, network for exchanges between the divisions).
