Collaborations in the Mediterranean Region

Inra, Cirad and the CGIAR are developping collaborations in the Mediterranean region.

In view of these collaborations, ICARDA is going to play the role of the main focal point in this region. ICARDA represents the CGIAR and is in charge of mobilizing other CGIAR centers as well as national and regional institutes that are part of the AARINENA. A first contact was established in october which will lead to visits by scientists and the organization of workshops on specific topics during the first semester of 2009.
