Dark irregular lesions occur on leaves, stems and pods which are covered by small black dots (acervuli).
[R]Biology
The biology of this fungus is similar to that of C. lindemuthianum in bean.
The pathogen produces acervuli and conidia.
[R]Epidemiology
The disease is seed-borne.
Moderate temperatures and humid conditions favour the spread of the disease.
[R]Treatement
Use healthy seeds.
Use resistant cultivars.
Apply recommended fungicides.
[R]Possible misleading
The symptoms of Glomerella glycines which is present in older plants at the same time.
