[R] Kind of food which an animal species habitually imbibes during its life or at a particular stage of its development, the term feeding habit being also applicable to a particular form or population.
There are 3 main types of feeding habits:.
-the phytophagous or plant-feeding type;.
-the zoophagous or carnivorous type;.
-the saprophagous scavenging type.
