LanguageEnglish will be the official language of the conference.Submission of a full paper to the Equine Veterinary Journal Special issueInformation available on this pageRecommendations for oral and poster presentations► Recommendations for the oral presentations: - Objective: stimulate questions and discussion - 10 min presentation (a stop watch will be used) - Prepare slides with Powerpoint format (version 2003 or later version, save for a PC under Windows XP) and save your slides with the option of your fonts included. - Your presentation will be loaded to a PC provided by the conference organization. Only CD-Rom and USB memory stick are accepted for transfer. - Please name your file using the first letter of your first name, your last name, session and presentation date as part of the file name. For example "Hchateau-S4-0618.ppt". ► Recommendations for the poster presentations: - Your poster will be hung up during the duration of the meeting at a place indicated by your name: from Monday 16 to Thursday 19 June. - Size of the poster: 90 cm horizontal x 120 cm vertical. - Each poster will be presented orally (2’ presentation) by its author during the corresponding poster session. Registration fees:
* Evidence of student status, such as copy of enrollment letter, has to accompany registration.
** Includes all meals (except gala dinner) and social activities but excludes scientific elements (e.g. scientific program, proceedings).
After 31 May 2008 *** : one day: € 200, two days: € 350, three days: € 500. *** Material items and involvement in social program cannot be assured. Registration fees cover Delegate and Student: - All sessions of the scientific program. - Scientific proceedings. - Conference bag and contents. - Coffee breaks. - and: Delegate, Student and Accompanying person: - Lunches (days 2 to 4) and dinners (except gala dinner). - Social events including the opening feast on day 1, afternoon / evening activities on days 2 to 4. The attached list indicates the hotels that are the closest to the Conference site (reachable by walk). For some of them, price is a special one for the conference. If you wish, other accommodation types (holiday lets, rooms to let, holiday residence, holiday letting and estate agent) are also available on the Cabourg city website. Local & LinksCabourg city websiteWeather - ClothesThe weather in Cabourg in June should be pleasant: warm but sometimes cloudy and rainy during the day, cool in the evening. Bring clothes for outdoor activities (walk during visits and ... sport on June 19 !). Formal dress is recommended for the gala dinner, casual dress for other conference events.
