Submission of a full paper to the Equine Veterinary Journal Special issueSchedule
Editors
GuidelinesAuthors of an accepted abstract are invited to also submit papers of a maximum of four pages (*) when published that will be peer-reviewed for publication in a Special Issue of the Equine Veterinary Journal. As a guide, 2700 words, 2 or 3 figures and 2 or 1 table(s) would fit into 4 pages (for size example, see this article). Submission of the papers must be in accordance with the submission criteria for EVJ (http://www.evj.co.uk/authors/evj_authors.htm) except for the following differences: 1) For a full-paper to be considered, abstracts submitted for ICEL6 must not contain any tables or figures. 2) The address for submissions/correspondence is ICEL6 Conference Secretariat. 3) The only fees are those indicated previously : i.e. 75 £ per published page (i.e. 300 £ for a 4 page article). (*) Articles up to 6 pages will be accepted, but in this case, each additional page (maximum : 2) will be charged 100 £. 4) Only white and black illustrations will be accepted. 5) Submissions must be accompanied by a signed statement that the paper: i) is original, ii) has not been submitted or published elsewhere except in abstract form at ICEL6 without any figures or tables, iii) has the approval of all authors, and iv) the page charge of the article will be covered by the authors upon notification of acceptance. Papers submitted are assessed by at least two referees and, if accepted for publication, the copyright becomes the property of EVJ Ltd. If reference is made to papers cited as « in press », these should be provided. If material is used that has been published elsewhere or is given as a personal communication, it is the author's responsibility to obtain permission from the publisher and author. The Editors' decision is final. 6) The paper (in a Rich Text Format (*.rtf) formatted for a PC), accepted abstract and any papers in press, and one copy of the signed statement (in pdf format) must be submitted electronically to ICEL6 Conference Secretariat (contact@icel6.org) by June 6 2008. 7) The final version of the accepted or revised paper must be E-mailed to ICEL6 Conference Secretariat by September 19, 2008.
