- Primary hosts: cherry, plum and apricot. Aphids migrate to various wild and cultivated Compositae, including artichoke, chrysanthemum, mayweed (Matricaria), groundsel (Senecio) and various Borraginaceae and are similar to the leaf-curling plum aphid
(Brachycaudus helichrysi), which is characterized by its green colour.
[R]Damage
- Leaves undergo severe curling. Dense colonies occur at the base of flower heads and on the leaves.
