[R]Biology
Host-plant: this aphid develops typically on peach (*) .
[R]Life Cycle
Eggs hatch in the early spring as soon as bud-burst begins. Dense colonies occur on the underside of leaves, ants protecting colonies against natural enemies. This species is non-migratory and overwinters in the egg stage, eggs being laid near buds. Apterous females in meridional regions may overwinter incracks on bark of the main branches of peach.
[R]Damage
Affected leaves become severely curled and growth of shoots is greatly hindered (*) .
