Biology and distributionThe rarest Ctenuchinae from the French Antilles: one specimen caught by ourselves at light trap: Guadeloupe; Piton de Sainte-Rose: 11-VI-1983. Very rare, according to Chalumeau and Delplanque: xerophilic zone of Guadeloupe.
Antigua.
Greater Antilles, Jamaica: numerous specimens, Puerto-Rico, St-Thomas, St-John, where many adults moths were mating on Antigonon leptopus (Polygonaceae) (Dan Clark, personal communication).
This species could extend southwards (Chalumeau and Delplanque). (recent data are needed to confirm this).
