Biology and distribution

The moth at rest has the abdomen raised above the wing axis.

Uncommon in Guadeloupe. In hygrophilic and mesophilic zones only.
Les Saintes: Terre-de-Bas, St-Bartholomew.

Dominica.
Throughout the Greater Antilles (Puerto-Rico: type specimen of C. elota, Hispaniola: type specimen of C. filifera).

Florida (type specimen of C. inflexa), French Guyana.
