Facilitating intellectual and human relations among researchers and fostering the emergence of quality research projects

The Linguistique et Pratiques de Recherches (LPR) project is based at Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique ( INRA / French National Research Institute for Agriculture).

It involves a linguist, with a PhD in Didactics and Language Science , who has specialized in scientific writing and the communication of science, in mentoring and coaching, and researchers with various disciplinary backgrounds (mathematics, biometrics, agronomy, plant and animal biology, human health, social scences, etc),

It is based in Paris 7ème, 147 rue de l'Université.
Our activities are conducted within the framework of a changing research environment:

• Research is being more and more organized with well structured research projects
• Research is pressed to meet quality criteria
• Researchers must be mobile - intellectually as well as geographically
• Research must take into account social issues ; the relations between science and society are changing fast
• European researchers, universities and research organizations are invited to contribute to building the European Research Area
• The training of researchers is evolving - from a system of "reproduction" to a system based on skills evaluation.
  

We organize seminars, writing labs and writing workshops for researchers and PhD students.

To facilitate intellectual and human relations, we develop collective learning, reflective practice, epistemology-in-practice and critical analysis.
