Joint Research Unit - Mathematics, Informatics and STatistics for Environmental and Agronomical sciences - Montpellier

Director : Alain Rapaport
Secretary : Cécile Louche

The research projects carried out within the Joint Research Unit for Systems Analysis and Biometrics focus mainly on analysing and controlling dynamic systems of biological, agronomical, agro-food or environmental interest. They are divided into three major branches, each combining research and innovations, namely :

the mathematics of renewable resource management
the mathematics of agro-bio-industrial processes
learning and classification.

These research activities concern essentially the development of mathematical and informatics tools for observing, analysing, modelling and controlling the different types of dynamic systems found in this context.
