Partnerships
© Inra, C. Maître Within this context, scientific partnerships make it possible to develop new approaches, to pool know-how and to address issues from their global perspective.
Socio-economic partnerships allow us to identify societal expectations in order to integrate them into reflections on research directions and to break them down into research programmes and projects in partnership with professional organisations or private businesses.
These partnerships – extended, diversified and renewed – are based on a balance between the free dissemination of knowledge, transmission and utilisation within society, and protection of the public good.
The Microbiology and Food Chain Division (MICA) has partners in research and higher education through joint research units (JRU) and units under contract (UUC).
It actively participates in research projects implemented by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and in European framework programmes. It develops numerous relationships with scientific partners worldwide.
The MICA Division also maintains close links with economic partners thanks to interactions between transfer and scientific partnerships. It offers access to many tools and platforms.
The management and coordination of these partnerships is entrusted to the division’s partnership manager.
The MICA Division’s activities benefit from the support of data processing and exchange tools such as electronic publications and the regular participation in events such as conferences and symposiums.
