Systematics

This species is probably identical (at least at the specific level) to Sericoptera area Cramer, known from Venezuela to Brazil, and S. virginaria Hulst (= insularis Warren), known from Florida and Cuba.

Biology and distribution

Found at St-Kitts only, might occur at St-Bartholomew, St-Martin and Guadeloupe.
