Biology and distribution

Polyphagous larva. Among Antillean plants already reported : Waltheria indica (Sterculiaceae), Schrankia leptocarpa (Mimosaceae) and sweet potato Ipomoea batatas (Convolvulaceae).

This striking species is very rare in Guadeloupe. Not observed during our stay, it was apparently more frequent ten years before (Chalumeau and Malausa leg.).

Throughout the Greater Antilles.
