Biology and distribution

This species lives in xerophilic zones. Guadeloupe : reported around St-François only, Martinique : Presqu'île de la Caravelle.
St-Martin, Marie-Galante.

St-Kitts, Antigua, Grenada.
Jamaica, Cuba, Hispaniola (type specimens of I. scindens and I. ordinans), St-Croix.

From the south of the United States to Paraguay.
