Biology and distribution

Polyphagous larva, frequently found on "Legumes" (Fabaceae, Mimosaceae, Ceasalpiniaceae) and also on Poaceae and Euphorbiaceae (Kimball).

Guadeloupe and Martinique (type specimen of S. sueroides), in xerophilic zones.

Dominica.
Cuba, Jamaica.

From the south of the United States to Argentina.
