Biology and distribution

Larva on Passiflora spp.. Frequent on passion fruits (P. edulis L.) in gardens, and very abundant in xerophilic zones on P. foetida L. (Passifloraceae).

Martinique (A. v. vanillae ) and Guadeloupe (A. v. insularis) very common everywhere.
St-Martin, St-Bartholomew, Marie-Galante (A. v. insularis).

Anguilla, Antigua, St-Kitts, Montserrat, Dominica (A. v. insularis), St-Lucia, St-Vincent, Grenada, Grenadines and Barbados (A. v. vanillae).
Throughout the Greater Antilles (A. v. insularis).
