Biology and distribution

Larva on Rubiaceae.

A diurnal species.

Very rare in Guadeloupe: Ste-Anne: Grands Fonds (Gruner) and Martinique (Pinchon, Ryckewaert). Never found by ourselves, but the illustrations given in Pinchon and d'Aguilar apparently correspond to A. tantalus.
St-Martin, St-Bartholomew (Pinchon).

St-Kitts, St-Lucia, Grenada (Pinchon).
? Greater Antilles.

From southern United States to Paraguay.
