Larva on papaya (Carica papaya, Caricaceae), Euphorbiaceae: Manihot esculenta, Poinsettia pulcherrima (Chalumeau and Delplanque), Sebastiania, Sapium (Haxaire), and Sapotaceae: Manilkara (Haxaire).

Common everywhere, in Guadeloupe and Martinique.
Marie-Galante, St-Martin, St-Bartholomew (Pinchon).

Throughout the Antilles.

From Canada to Argentina.
