Description: An independent European forum for farm animal reproduction and selection organisations (industry and farmer's cooperatives), including companies involved in related technologies. Within EFFAB, cattle and other ruminants, pigs, poultry and aquaculture are represented. The aims are to: stimulate research and research funding at a European level; indicate the important research axes for the industry to the EC;  disseminate research results to the industry, beyond the relatively few industrial partners participating in EU projects as full partners; provide a forum for the farm animal industry interested in and/or related to reproduction and selection.
