GreenSys 2019 International Symposium

The GreenSys International Symposium has taken place since 2004 and has been held every 2 years since 2007. It is organised under the aegis of the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS). The 2019 edition will be held for the first time in France and is organised by Agrocampus Ouest, CTIFL and INRA.

The GreenSys 2019 International Symposium on Advanced Technologies and Management for Innovative Greenhouses will be held in Angers, France, from June 16th to 20th 2019. It is organised by Hicham Fatnassi (Institut Sophia Agrobiotech, INRA PACA), Pierre-Emmanuel Bournet (Agrocampus Ouest) and Eric Brajeul (CTIFL) with the support of Destination Angers.

This conference will focus on all facets of greenhouse systems.  It will cover a wide spectrum of research concerning protected crops and horticultural engineering. New technologies concerning climate control, energy savings, greenhouse crop and farm production will be dealt with.  Topics such as greenhouse design, covering materials, climate and microclimate control and modelling, energy, water management, crop modelling, Computational Fluid Dynamics, sensors, automation and robotics, lighting technology, plant production, protection and quality will be addressed.

This event is an opportunity to bring together researchers, technicians and other professionals to present their research innovations in greenhouse horticulture, to share ideas and knowledge and discuss state-of-the-art and future perspectives for the sheltered crop production sector.
